What is the difference between current balance and available balance?

The Current (or ledger) Balance is the balance remaining in your account after all transactions have posted for the previous business day. This balance does not include holds on deposited checks, pending Debit or ATM Card withdrawals. The Available Balance equals your Current Balance minus holds on deposited checks, Debit Card transactions, and/or pre-authorized debits, and plus deposits.
